Angel Food Ministries is a great way for families to save money every month on their grocery bill. You can get a variety of food that would cost up to $80.00 in most of the large grocery stores for $30.00 per month. Each month's menu is different than the previous month and consist of both fresh and frozen items. Generally, one unit of food assist in feeding a family of four for about one week, or a single senior citizen for almost a month. There are no government surplus commodities, no second-hand items, no damaged or out-dated goods, no dented cans without labels, no day-old breads, and no produce that is almost too ripe.
Also offered are specialty boxes such as steaks, chicken and pork. Many participants in the bonus program appreciate the expanded monthly specials that represent excellent values from $18.00 - $20.00 each.
